We're thrilled to announce that the new CodeThemed, our extensive overhaul of the look and feel of our site and app, is going to be available on Friday, June 7th.

The new CodeThemed's design goes back to the basics, making every way you customize your mobile life more simple and beautiful. Each page of the desktop site has been specially recreated, including the new Gallery which highlights interesting new content created by users every day.

Our new Theme Builder takes customization further. With Iconify, images you upload are automatically transformed into authentic iOS icons. We've enhanced label styles, now allowing full visual control over the look and placement of the calendar icon dates and status bar time. App badges, folder and multitasking bar customization, and even more enhancements are included.

Our mobile app has been rebuilt with an updated design, new Theme Builder, and a new wireless transfer system. You can create and discover themes on your computer and instantaneously have them installed to your device over-the-air with just a few clicks.

Now every theme works on every iOS device and firmware. So, you can create a theme designed for your device, and anyone else can use it with automatic upscaling, downscaling, and theme structuring happening behind the scenes.

Over the past three months, our private beta of the new CodeThemed has been a success. We thank all of those who helped test and provided feedback.

The website and app will be temporarily unaccessible as we transition to our new backend and upgrade existing themes to work on all iOS devices and firmwares. Follow us on Twitter for updates regarding this.

We can't wait to share what we've been working on and for it to be in your hands.

Ta ta for now,

— CodeThemed Team

We've recently been working on a completely new iPhone app. The design is beautiful, it works nicely, and of course, is populated with over 150,000 themes. Finally today it's available in Cydia and we're thrilled to get it in your hands.

The first thing you'll see when signing in is the Browse tab, where you can look through featured and popular themes, browse by category, or search by term. Tap a theme to view it, or swipe across one to like, share, download, or comment. Hitting the user icon allows you to edit your profile, and view your followers' profiles.

The left tab brings you to My Themes, where you can manage themes you've created, installed, and liked. Tap the + button to open the Theme Builder, which allows you to customize your device like never before -- on a home screen just like your own. You can instantly see as you build your theme how it will end up looking without any installations necessary. This Theme Builder is a $0.99 add-on that can be purchased in the app through PayPal.

In the mobile Theme Builder, simply tap an icon to change it, and if we have any presets available, they're ready for you to use. If not, you can take a photo or choose one from your library and we'll make it look good. The same process goes for docks and wallpapers. Any photos you use in your themes are uploaded to your account, so you can access them from the Custom tab on the website Theme Builder here.

When you're finished, hit Done > Save Changes, and enter information about your theme. You can optionally make your theme private if you don't want others to see it. After it's done saving, just install, and apply it in WinterBoard.

We think the direction this is going is great, and are excited to finally get it in your hands. What's even more awesome is that our app is now FREE, so there's no reason why you shouldn't have it. Visit this page for more information, or watch some of our favorite video reviews below!

The iPad 2 has just recently been jailbroken by the never-disappointing @comex. Because of this, you can now open your device up to all of the great tweaks and themes jailbreaking provides, including CodeThemed!

If you're just as excited as we are, on your firmware 4.3 iPad visit www.jailbreakme.com in Safari, and hit the 'FREE' App Store-style button to install Cydia. From there, you'll need to turn off and turn back on your device. Finally, install CodeThemed from Cydia, and then you're all set.

We hope you enjoy customizing your iPad 2!

We're proud and excited to announce today's release of Theme Builder 2.1 with so many additions and upgrades. Our previous two week beta period has been quite a success, and we thank you all who contributed.

So what's all in this release?

Retina + iPad: You can now theme your iPhone 4 or iPod touch 4 and take advantage of their gorgeous, HD Retina displays. Not only are we adding these devices, but both iPad 1 and iPad 2 are also now supported.

Double-Sizing: Use the new 2x button to see Retina display-enabled and iPad HD themes full size. You'll see just how truly finely-detailed and beautiful HD themes can be. Now available on theme view pages and on the Theme Builder.

New Add Icon: Change the icons of thousands of apps with just a few keyboard taps. We'll find the app you're looking for and automatically match it up with its ID -- this way, your icons will work internationally and in all languages.

Compatibility: Add your devices to your account with My Devices, and instantly see what themes on the site work with your specific device and generation. Link devices to your account either manually or by signing into the CodeThemed app (which adds them automatically).

New presets: We've worked with designers to provide new HD presets for icons, docks, and wallpapers. Use them in your Retina and iPad themes.

Stay tuned, we already have more updates and features coming to the site which will be released soon! More details on that will be announced later. Follow us on Twitter, and Like us on Facebook for instant updates.

We'll soon be hitting 100,000 users since our original launch in April 2010. We'd like to thank you guys greatly for the support you continue to give and for helping us build this community.
